Several stress tests will be run against the latest versions of OpenSimulator and published here.
The initial tests are for maximum avatars, scripts and physical objects

Several versions of OpenSimulator were run on a dual, quad core server using the stress tools. The server was running Windows Server 2008, OpenSimulator was running in standalone mode with MySQL and all the servers and clients were on a single gigabit switch.

Stress Tests

Several stress tests have been created for testing the limits
of OpenSimulator in different
hardware configurations.

The tests so far are:

	* Active Avatar
	* Scripts
	* Physical objects

Active Avatar
provides avatar stress by logging in many active bots.
The bots bake their appearance and then walk around a region randomly.
Many hundred of bots can be logged in if you have sufficient client
systems to drive the bots.
